Evidence of significant past damage likely from cattle which was repaired. Stones reset, and epoxied…there still are some bricks and rocks strown about within the wrought iron enclosed yard – Likely debris from previously set stones.
Stones are set exceptionally close to each other – because there is evidence that some have been reset it is not clear if these have been moved, compressed, or what. The density is unusual for what we have seen, especially considering it’s location relative to the road, the homeplace and the rolling expansive pastures…need to examine this further.
A single white wooden cross was marking a burial alongside the enclosed cemetery but outside. There was no indication as to whether it was an individual or perhaps a memorial to an animal. Need to follow up.
