Overstreet Family Cemetery

Some damage to a few markers; disintegrating concrete marker and an uprooted one as well

Well maintained cemetery that appears to be a Overstreet burial ground (as opposed to “Wildman” as cemetery was referred to in previous survey) and is referred to such in the early 1900s. From which to Overstreet lines introduced Dowdy, Newman and Wildman lines. Cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence and is at the end of a quiet road offering plenty of security. There may well be additional interments here from the aforementioned family names as cemetery is quite large with majority of markers found towards the front/entrance side. Plot is free of all trees and brush and has well established grass that is being partially mowed regularly.
