George W Meador Family Cemetery

A very peaceful plot set under a stand of old cedars set in a field of Waterford Drive. Cemetery shows evidence of a fence, perhaps to exclude livestock. Dense cedars provide thick picturesque cover and a dense cover of needles arresting the growth of weeds and brush below. Cemetery is just barely visible from road in an area quickly becoming developed. It is possible that the CSA marker is placed *alongside* G W Meadors grave as there appears to be 2 clear depressions with the CSA marker straddling the two…also suspect that G W Meador’s wife Narcissa is also interred here. There may well be more interments here as well. Cemetery may have been created with George’s death in 1888 per his will.
