Per previous survey this cemetery was moved and wall dismantled. We have not confirmed this from a site visit.
Notes
The John A Thaxton family cemetery appears to have been moved to Greenwood Cemetery on March 6, 1961. Original interments included; John A (1845-1907) and his wife Mildred Frances Board Thaxton (1850-1932) and children John William Thaxton (1877-1929) and Maggie Frances Thaxton (1875-1893,) and they were reinterred in a plot with son Clinton Robert Thaxton, so perhaps he initiated this move. No indication if there were others buried here or if these 4 were the extent of the family plot.
